We welcomed Lydia back in the Greensboro studio last week!! Lydia was fresh off some summer vacation time and ready to create. We went with a less classical look and she let her fiery hair fly. Sometimes it flew in funny ways, but when it behaved, it really lit up the scene.
As I mentioned before he studio recently purchased a professional dance floor that we can lay down. All of these images were created on that floor and then we digitally replaced the floor with the extension of the backdrop. We wanted to make sure that Lydia had a familiar and safe surface to work on. That made her jumps more confident, and helped ensure that she landed safely after each graceful and powerful leap. That translated into stunning Dance Photography.
Lydia has a great deal of skill and tenacity. We worked for several hours creating these images and she just kept going. Once we were done and she felt we had captured some great images, she said she'd be icing her toes. I am sure she slept well that night, but she never once slowed down in the studio. The athleticism of dance astounds me. Not quite yet a senior, I look forward to watching Lydia's skills grow, and to capture her Senior Photography soon!
