You work hard on your art, more than most will ever know. Your dedication deserves a photographer who understands that and will act as your partner in creating images that take your breath away. We will spend anywhere from two hours to 6+ hours working on your images. This ensures that we have the time to finesse your pose, try something new, and create incredible images that portray your absolute best. I will work with you, coach you, and support you as we perfect each part of your pose until all comes together, and we both say, "WOW!" The time we will spend also affords us the luxury of trying an idea to see if we can make something wonderful and unexpected. At the end of the day, I want you to feel like you created images worthy of your art, I want you to feel like you accomplished something, and I want you have had FUN doing all of that!
Collaborations begin with a studio tour and a chat about your goals as an artist. During your visit, we will get to know each other a little better, map out any special requirements, come up with some ideas, and discuss the wardrobe.
On the day of your session, the first hour is dedicated to stretching and getting warmed up. You will be getting a workout, and we don't want any injuries. If you require more time than that, we can adjust your arrival time appropriately.
Then we have our creative time where we work the lighting and your position to create the best possible representation of your art form. I will coach you to get your pose to look its best in the final image, and craft lighting that accentuates your form. As co-creators, we aren't done until we both feel we've achieved our goal. Images that don't live up to your standards are never released or shown.
Your session will be a workout. Make sure you are well-rested and well-fueled for your time here. We endeavor to have a supply of snacks and drinks on hand to keep you hydrated and happy.
The studio has a cork floor over pier-and-beam construction, providing a forgiving surface. Though rarely needed, sections of Marley flooring may be rolled out if required. Additionally, there are many outdoor spaces on my two‑acre lot to create in the beauty of nature.
Inside or out, we have ample strobes and light modifiers to craft the light to accentuate your form and make you look marvelous!
Whether you need audition photos, headshots, or just want to celebrate your artistic soul; we've got you covered!
Your audition images are about your precision, your form, and your love of dance. We will test your lines and translate your hard work into audition images that convey your passion, show you at your best, and have lighting that flatters your form and highlights your strengths.
Your headshot is your first 1000 words to the artistic director. It isn't just about what you look like, but also the artist that they see when looking at your headshot. You want your image to not only show your grace and strength, but also convey your personality, your willingness to learn, and your dedication to your art.
Let's get creative. Dance packages start at $500 for a two-hour creative session (plus time to stretch), and extend up to a 6+ hour day of fun and creativity. The full description of the packages can be found by clicking below:
